| The 99 Club Meeting day: 9th of the

The 99 Club, a social group has a membership of approx
35 with an average attendance of 25 and is a mixed
group for any age. We have speakers usually in each
others homes, outing, meals, theatre trips as well
as coffee mornings and joining in other activities
connected with the church. |

Two teams of helpers prepare, and cook a substantial
meal for 40 people. It is for people who live alone
or are in special need. The list is full with a waiting
list. Guests are asked to notify the secretary when
they are unable to attend, then other guests are invited.
We need more helpers, to cover for illness or holidays.
All food is fresh and cooked in the kitchen.
Sample menu:

This group is primarily for women. Men are invited,
as usually the subjects are of interest to everyone.
Lonely people will find a warm friendly atmosphere.
We are part of a world-wide fellowship of women. |

The Wednesday fellowship meets from September to
March with an average attendance of 20. There is a
named programme of speeches, and transport can be arranged
if required. |

The Men's Group We are informal group where men with links to the church
can exchange news and views. We run an annual
weekend away, see the photos of the last event here.
As well as ad-hoc monthly meetings, we
often frequent the Rose and Crown pub near North Bar
in Beverley - most Friday nights from around 9.30pm

We are a group of people in their 20’s/ 30’s
from churches across the Beverley Circuit who meet
monthly. We have enjoyed spending time in each others homes,
going to local theatres, bowling, evenings at the
cinema and meals out. We are a growing group of friendly
young people who continue to welcome new members.

House Groups
A variety of house groups meet throughout the week.
Each has it's own theme, ranging from bible study,
social issues, parenting, etc. Venues and more
information available from Richard Teal. |
Music in the church
The music group meets on a Friday evening at 7.30pm
in the church. This is a small group who enjoy music
and practice to make contributions to worship when required.
Contact Mrs Elaine TurnerOn special occasions a larger choir is formed to sing
an anthem or short musical.
The young people have a music group which sometimes
accompanies hymns during worship.
